Description
Spinach Dip Graveyard Scene is a Halloween party showstopper. This warm, cheesy, and creamy dip is decorated like a spooky graveyard with cracker tombstones and fun garnishes. Perfect for themed gatherings and cozy nights in.
Ingredients
4 cups fresh spinach, chopped 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 cup sour cream 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp seasoned salt Crackers or breadsticks for dipping and decorating Optional: olives, sesame seeds, pretzel sticks for spooky decorations
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash, dry, and roughly chop the spinach. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and seasoned salt. Mix well. Fold in the chopped spinach until evenly combined. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let the dip cool for 5 minutes before decorating. Insert crackers as tombstones, olive spiders, and sprinkle sesame seeds as graveyard dirt. Serve warm with breadsticks or spooky-shaped crackers.
Notes
Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother texture. To make ahead, prep the dip a day early and bake before serving. For added spice, swap cheddar for pepper jack. Use gluten-free crackers for a gluten-free option.
