Description

Bright blue Cookie Monster Cookies packed with chocolate chips, chopped Oreos, and crispy chocolate chip cookies, with a melty chocolate center. A fun and playful treat inspired by TikTok.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup butter, room temperature

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Blue food coloring

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

3 cups all-purpose flour

¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips

½ cup white chocolate chips

¾ cup chopped Oreos

¾ cup chopped crispy chocolate chip cookies (Famous Amos or mini Chips Ahoy)

¾ cup milk chocolate discs or chunks of milk chocolate bar

Topping: extra chocolate chips, chopped Oreos, and chopped crispy cookies

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.

3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fluffy and pale.

4. Mix in blue food coloring until evenly colored.

5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined.

7. Fold in the chocolate chips, Oreos, and crispy cookies evenly.

8. Scoop 2 tbsp of dough, flatten, and place chocolate discs in the center. Cover with more dough and seal the edges.

9. Press extra toppings on top of the dough balls.

10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.

11. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

If your dough feels too soft, chill it for 20-30 minutes before baking.

Swap the chocolate discs for chunks of a milk chocolate bar if needed.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
